Weekly 2

This week I have all of my objects completed (aside from the pastries, where I'm unsure if I want to tackle Zbrush or not. If it doesn't pan out, I can model them in Maya). While I mentioned last week that Visor hurt my polycount quite a bit, Ivy Generator completely obliterated it, the ivy alone being around 1.5 million polygons. I need to go in and clean up unnecessary parts (since Ivy Generator not only produced ivy on the back of my object but also clumped up around the corners), however I was advised by the lovely Vinna to wait until later to implement the ivy in my scene because of the sheer poly count. I need to figure out how to assign all of the leaves and vines their texture respectively and was told we'd go over it in class so for now I'm just going to leave the ivy out of my scene.

I also changed my camera, hooray! I went with the idea mentioned in class to change the focal length and start the camera from the back of the room and make its way to the front. Thanks to everyone for the advice! Now my scene looks a lot more appealing in my opinion.
